🏉 Garçon Bien Vêtu : Une Histoire de Passion, de Défi et d’Engagement

🏉 Well Dressed Boy: A Story of Passion, Challenge, and Commitment

⚡ July 15, 2018: An Unforgettable Night

There are days that mark a life. Days when everything seems to fall into place in a whirlwind of emotions. July 15, 2018, World Cup final. France faces Croatia. A legendary match, a resounding victory, a jubilant country.

In the streets, horns blare, chants rise, flags flutter in the wind. That evening, the Blues won their second star, and every Frenchman felt that raw pride, that indescribable thrill.

The next morning, while the euphoria of victory still hung in the air, another reality suddenly became apparent. A diagnosis. A setback. A hospital visit that changed everything.

Kidney problems. One word, one sentence. No more intense sports, no more playing fields, no more of that all-consuming energy that only sport can provide.

How do you accept that you'll no longer be able to play, run, or push yourself like you used to? How do you mourn the loss of a part of yourself when you grew up with sport in your blood? How do you find a new lease on life when everything seems to be falling apart?

🏉 Rugby: Transforming Pain into Strength

If this World Cup was the spark that pushed me to react, it was rugby that gave me the fuel to continue.

Because in the months that followed, when it would have been easy to give up, I found support, courage and an unwavering brotherhood among those who live rugby, not just as a sport, but as a way of life.

I was surrounded by incredible people, rugby enthusiasts who carried within them deeply human values: solidarity, resilience, self-improvement.

They showed me that, even off the field, you can continue to fight, to surpass yourself, to live with the same intensity as a match played until the last second.

And that's when it all made sense.

If my body could no longer withstand the impact of a tackle, my mind could continue to vibrate to the rhythm of rugby.

This is how Well Dressed Boy was born.

A brand inspired by sport, but especially by rugby, its strength, its traditions, its collective spirit. A brand that embodies what one feels in a locker room before a big match, in a scrum where every effort is shared, in a haka that electrifies the air before kickoff.

💙 A Committed Brand

Because this fight doesn't stop with me, it was obvious that Garçon Bien Vêtu also had to be a solidarity brand. A project that goes beyond textiles, that has meaning.

That's why, in 2025 , we decided to contribute to the Renaloo cause, an organization that supports patients with kidney disease. Because no one should go through this type of ordeal alone.

📌 Concretely, what do we do?
3% of profits donated to Renaloo to finance concrete actions.
Raising awareness of the importance of kidney disease and access to care.
A sincere commitment : No greenwashing, just real action.
